Have you been logging your AQHA riding hours?

Yes, you can do that — and earn cool prizes along the way!

The American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding program is one of my favorite parts about being an AQHA Member.

what is the aqha horseback riding program?

The AQHA Horseback Riding Program is designed to encourage riders to spend more time on horseback and to track the number of hours they spend riding.

Participants in the program can earn rewards and recognition for their riding achievements, based on the number of hours they log in the saddle. Riders can earn awards for riding 25, 50, 75, 100, 250, 500, 750, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000, and even 10,000 hours.

If you’re riding anyways, why not log those hours?

how to get started in the aqha horseback riding program:

You can enroll and learn more (straight from the American Quarter Horse Association) about the program here.

In addition to the Horseback Riding Program, the AQHA offers a variety of other programs and events, including competitions, shows, and clinics focused on horsemanship, riding, and training. These programs are designed to promote the American Quarter Horse breed and to support riders and horse enthusiasts of all levels.

What kind of AQHA (or other breed association) activities do you like to do with your horse(s)?
